Honda Accord Wagon LX (1991) Drum Brakes.?
Depends on how rusty and the quality of the hardware. There is springs that cause the shoes to close and brake adjustments on how hard the shoes close. If the springs are overstretched they need to be changed.

You need special tools to stretch the springs and adjust them.

You will also need the drums ground so they are true. With wear and use there drums are out of round. With them being out of round the shoes do not apply even pressure over the low spots. if the drums are to far worn you will need to replace them. For this you need a micrometer and manufacturer specs on what is an acceptable reading.

Some auto parts places will grind the drums for free for buying the shoes there.

You will also have to bleed the brake lines.

Then you need to road test the car to see if the brakes need adjusting.

If this is over your head and you do not have the special tools do not attempt. You will do more damage than it would cost to get a mechanic to do it.

The best bet is to get a chilton's manual for your vehicle they will give a step instructions and pictures.

if the drums are good have them turned, if not change them too, and get what is called a hardware pack for each wheel, that includes all clips, springs, retainers, etc.
you should change the shoe's and the drum if you dont have a way to machine it. if your wheel cylinders are leaking repace them and any springs that are rusted or broke.
shoes and brake cleaner to get the brake dust off
